Adelphi is committed to the issues of race, social justice and equality and is now offering a new special topic course, Race: A Critical Perspective.

Dr. Monique Mohammed 鈥�14, MS 鈥�16, earned her Doctor of Optometry degree this spring. She couldn鈥檛 have done it, she said, without the support she received from the CSTEP and mentoring programs as a student at Adelphi. Read her inspiring story.

Harpist Skyla Budd '13, guitarist Daniel Moreno '13 and flutist Philip Lauto '15 were Adelphi music majors who became inspired to form a trio after performing 鈥淪even Meditations on Tibet鈥� by Carmen Moore鈥攁 piece that, according to Budd, 鈥渞equired the unusual instrumentation of a harp, guitar and flute. Due to that performance, we all realized what an interesting and unique sound we had and formed Trio Delphi.鈥�
